Diyanna’s complex medical contidion and mutliple disabilites means she requires round the clock care along with multiple trypes of equpiment and home modification.
The last few months has been the worst for Diyanna in a long time. In the past month she has been in hospital 4 times with viral/bactirial infection which has caused pneumonia. This just adds another layer to an already complicated situation.
As most of you know we have been having a lot of problems in securing funds through the NDIS to get our home modifications for Diyanna. This has been an ongoing issue since 2018. They more they (NDIS) delay the more at risk Diyanna becomes. We have gone through the internal review process a number of times without success. The last step is to go to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. It could take years for an outcome to be given. It’s time that we don’t have.
We have tried every other option and we can’t sit by and watch Diyanna suffer like this. We need your help. We know it’s a hard time for everyone and we wish that it didn’t go down this road. But we have no other option.
We have set up a gofund me page to try and raise half of the funds needed to make our home work for Diyanna.
